Designers in Cambridge | Social

BIDA is holding its second social for designers in the Cambridge area. Originally scheduled on a day of possible train strikes, we will now be meeting on Thursday 30th June.  Leading employers of designers include PA Consulting, Team Consulting, The Technology Partnership, Cambridge Consultants, Cambridge Industrial Design, Cambridge Design Technology, Sagentia, Wright Design and others are all based in the area.  Perhaps the UK’s most significant clusters of design and innovation outside London. 

Join us for a relaxed social evening.

We will be meeting at the Bar at Parkers Tavern in the city centre from 7:00pm

The Cambridge image shows the distinctive ‘Richardson Candle’s’ fluorescent street lights.  Very innovative street furniture when they were installed in the 1950’s. Perhaps a starting point for many conversation points about the role of design in the economies of UK regions.
